
Noel Parnada
Senior Structural Engineer
Noel Parnada has a MSc in Structural Design & Construction Management from Kingston University and has been working with both residential and commercial buildings within civil & structural engineering for many years in the Middle East, Philippines and within the UK.

Noel is also in the latter stages of becoming a Charted Structural Engineer.
What's the most interesting or challenging project you've worked on?
"Every project is different. I've worked on a barn conversion, which was interesting to design and detail, because this old barn was quite fragile and needed to be carefully designed without transferring dead loadings to the existing elements."

Inspirations/Aspirations for your career?
"My inspiration is my family. I would like to achieve my charter in IStructE and I hope to be able to achieve this with help from Modulus."

An achievement you're proud of:
"I am proud to have recently co-authored and published a research title called “Experimental testing of medium-scale GFRP reinforced concrete frames" - You can read Noel's research paper here.

Hobbies & Interests
"I enjoy travelling abroad and going bowling and swimming, as well as playing basketball in my spare time."

Any pets? Everyone loves animals!
None, but I'm currently considering looking for a dog……… maybe?
