During her tenure as President of The Institution of Structural Engineers, Tanya de Hoog has placed a spotlight on the critical role that structural engineers play in advancing climate initiatives, ensuring public safety, and making a meaningful difference in the lives of people across the globe. Tanya's vision is to realise a united, impactful effort from everyone within the organisation and its members, emphasising that collective action is key. At Structronix, we whole-heartedly agree with this initiative and are joining the movement. Tanya invites each of us to contribute by selecting an action to commit to—whether it's a personal ambition or a shared objective for the year 2024. After some thought, Structronix Director, Owen Brooker, has decided upon his 'Call-to-Action' commitment - "I commit to actively sharing my knowledge and collaborating with others to accelerate technical expertise within our wider engineering community in 2024."

We are delighted to be a part of this inspiring movement and come together with our fellow engineers to drive positive change. Keep an eye out for future updates.
